About me
You’ve probably come to this page to read some testimonials from my clients. The truth is, I’ve never asked any client for a testimonial and I never will. I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework which has strict boundaries around how we work with clients and mindful of that, I will never ask a client – current or former – for anything. Because that would make the work about me – and that’s not ever right in the therapy relationship.
So instead, I hope that my qualifications and training speak for themselves…
I qualified in 2020, after achieving a Distinction on my Level 7 MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Salford University.
I went back to Salford to train in CBT for Anxiety and Addictive Behaviours in 2022. I then began a doctoral degree in Psychotherapy as I just loved learning so much.
I achieved my accreditation with the BACP in 2023 – this is a quality hallmark which demonstrates experience, skills and competency in Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
I started to specialise in trauma, training in the cognitive model for trauma, CBT-T, then qualifying as an EMDR practitioner in 2024.
In late 2025 I passed my viva for my doctoral degree at Salford University.
In 2026, I won a certificate in Autism Informed Practice.
I am currently training for a certificate as a Neurodiversity Coach. Honestly, I believe that every day is a school day and I will never stop training and learning about how to grow as a therapist.
