About me
You’ve probably come to this page to read some testimonials from my clients. I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework which has strict boundaries around how we work with clients so I never publish personalised testimonials from clients.
Instead, I can report that my annual survey (August 2026 showed that 87% of my clients found the empathy and understanding during sessions was beneficial while others benefited from the space for reflection, compassion shown and trust built. Clients said that they had noticed positive changes in their inter-family relationships, had less anxiety, more resilience, coping techniques, and improved understanding of self.
I also hope that my qualifications and training speak for themselves…
I qualified in 2020, after achieving a Distinction on my Level 7 MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Salford University.
I went back to Salford to train in CBT for Anxiety and Addictive Behaviours in 2022. I then began a doctoral degree in Psychotherapy as I just loved learning so much.
I achieved my accreditation with the BACP in 2023 – this is a quality hallmark which demonstrates experience, skills and competency in Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
I started to specialise in trauma, training in the cognitive model for trauma, CBT-T, then qualifying as an EMDR practitioner in 2024.
In 2026, I graduated from my Doctoral programme at Salford and also earned a certificate in Autism Informed Practice and Neurodiversity Coaching.
Honestly, I believe that every day is a school day and I will never stop training and learning about how to grow as a therapist.
